Louisiana based artist and educator Danielle Burns creates mixed-media prints to explore growing complacency in our society. Danielle received a BFA in Painting and a BS in Art Education in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University and an MFA in Printmaking from Louisiana State University in 2012.  She currently teaches printmaking and graphic design as an Instructor of Fine Arts at Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge, LA. Her mixed-media work includes experimental techniques that combine traditional print media with digital media. Her work has been exhibited in juried and invitational exhibitions nationally and internationally, including shows in Canada, Ireland, and Tokushima, Japan.
